I decided to give this AVN another try in light of the 0.2.5 rewrite.
I went through the story with almost the same POV, selecting mostly negative responses to the choices offered to me.
I noted a couple of changes that I appreciated early on. I think you removed the choice to either avoid the girl or help her early on. I think that was a good idea.
I thought Anya was fairly interesting. Not because I think she will make a good LI or because I want to see a lewd with her but because she seems to have some sort of psychological disorder. I find that sort of thing fascinating, so it got me interested.
On the other hand the scene still didn't change anything in the main story since the MC is in another part of the galaxy now. Maybe later?
The one thing I really did differently this time around is in regards to Ivy. Last time I ignored her situation. This time I had the MC break some skulls.
I was disappointed by the resulting changes. This is classic illusion of choice.
You see having saved Ivy the only difference I saw was the chance to see a lewd, which I turned down, and a few extra lines of dialogue and a few extra pics. No impact on the story what-so-ever.
Now that I have seen the story both with and without Ivy I can tell you for certain: She makes no difference. She doesn't reveal any important plot points, she doesn't help win any battles. Nothing.
Maybe one day she will do something important.
One last note: I had the MC turn down Miriel. I did that because Flora mentioned she had been acting unstable. I'm hoping that something will come of that. It would would be a good example of how a choice can have consequences on the story.
As in: If Miriel loses her cool at the worst time, when everything depends on her, or if she goes rogue and just leaves, it would be a real thing! It would matter! The story would have to diverge into at least two separate paths with real consequences.
Or you could just write in a game over if you want the easy road...

Google drive download is not working. it says that i can't download it due to "exceeded download quota for this file". On Gofile you uploaded 2 times the APK and one time the MAC version, so there is no windows version. Cherry on top, for some reason I can't open PixelDrain.
I played for a bit a few days ago, and I can say that the rework was needed and it improved it alot. Still there is a lot to criticize, but I will get there in a bit.
I just want to mention first, that I stoped playing the other day because it was a messy expierence. It felt rushed, hard to follow and all that. I got my new life (or whatever happend) and stopped there. I just didnt care anymore, I was lost. (and I replayed to the same - not quite there yet - moment now)
Now lets start with the new expierence.
It is way easier to understand whats going on, better introductions to all the characters and a better flow overall. So improvements are all over the place.
Here are the issues I have with the game as it is now:
the onboarding is waaaaay to long. Maybe its not even to long in itself, but its just story and dialogs for … I dont know. An hour?
I have no choices to make. That labyrinth thing in the ship felt unneccessary. I will “get there” anyway.
The overall plot is interesting and the biggest motivator for me.
Characters are interesting and mysterious, but the dialogs are to long.
Some jokes are misplaced / not funny.
The overall athmosphere is a dark and heavy one. Which makes some jokes not working for me, I guess.
Like others have said, there is potential here with that plot. But its very rough at the moment.

Glad to hear it, 0.2 was a very confusion, but after some learnings, i tried to fix that, and... Now it`s goings more smooth. Oh, and future updates would be more stable, and clearer.
i really liked this. for some reason this reminded me of the early days of eternum. very high potential here. a couple points i think can be improved. sometimes the dialogue goes on and on when it's not needed.like the bickering between the li's. sometimes it's really funny and other times it goes on and on and on lol :) some of the sex scenes were good. and some were really bad. the difference is huge. massive potential for improvements especially the climax. looked really unnatural sometimes.and some of the scenes were really short. i'm praying this improves alot in the future. best of luck in development @NoGlory

The dialogue size and the name r pretty big.... It's good bt if u can kindly add something that helps us to increase or decrease the sizes of name or dialogue.

Hi I'm currently trying to give this a chance but it has an error message, in chase you still see that today I wanted to take the chance and ask what like you need or how to copy that for you. The last time i was already asked for an error code or whatever.
First, I want to say thank you to the author and I can see the hard work you have put in. I have been reading/editing SF for over 60 years.
However, I also want to say this is one of the most confusing games I have ever played. The back in forth to future, earth and within the game itself makes it very hard to understand. I understand the "dark scenes" are to give it drama, but at least on my computer many of the underground scenes are so dark can't see much of the action.
No, I wasn't expecting living with your Landlady/sisters etc. type of game. That is why I went into playing this. I know you have done if for love/enjoyment and I can appreciate that. I do think you have the makings of some good story elements here-- but so much confusion is thrown into the mix. I would have suggested sticking to two or three elements and running with that.
Actually, I have played through the choices, and some do matter. Saving the girl in the alley matters, helping certain people pick up the dialogue later.
I have played the latest release, and will continue to play, I can't just let a story go and wish you well and hope you continue to expand your universe.
I hope you don't mind this review-- again, some good positive elements-- still don't know what "updating memory" means. The list of girls still is not clearly understood and I am assuming the Codex will be fleshed out in future sessions. However, you might want to put some instructions/hints to start off with so people don't feel like they have missed something.
Thank you for your feedback, I really enjoyed hearing it. And I totally agree with you, I decided to create too big a universe that takes a lot element into story, and tried to explain it all in some measly couple of chapters.
In general, in the future I'll make the story much clearer and more elaborated, but now I'm trying to redo the first chapter, to explain the elementary things to the player by showing what and how .

Sorry if that surprises or bothers you :-) . But us old retired guys like to play non-shoot them up games also. I have never been able to do the quick reflex or scrolling fight games. However, as I said in my review, love Sci-Fi books like Heinlein and Drake, even E.E Doc Smith so this type of game attracts me. Something along the lines Tales from...., Wartribe Academy, Eternium with good stories and some fun erotic side make it nice. Lucky Paradox is another "weird one" that has been progressing along. If you want, I will name a few of the other ones I play (sorry long answer to your post).
I also got into Steam, and have played or am playing games like Villains Legacy (superhero parody), City of Broken Dreams was a great one although prefer harem endings if it follows the game play. However, games are not the only thing I do in retirement, mentor a bunch of international students that I worked with, along with Tennis and Fishing when yard work allows. hahahahahha--- sorry-- long winded as usual. But thanks for asking.

You want an example of 'Illusion of Choice', thats Eternum. Add in Dev times of over 6 months and a Dev that doesn't like to respond to negative feedback and yeah, I will lose my temper.
Believe it or not I think NoGlory here is a better Dev than Caribdis, if only because he actually spoke to me about my concerns. Didn't just ignore and then block me.
Not to mention this story is fairly original, as in I have not read anything like it. Similar yes but not the same.
Eternum on the other hand is a rip off of 'Ready Player One'. It just has Pornography thrown in...

I was on itch for several days asking for information. I calculated how much time it was taking between each release and laid it all out for everyone to see. No response from Caribdis. Then I was blocked. It's obvious to me that Caribdis did not in fact want to discuss anything with me, he just wants to cover up his faults. Why else would he block me without discussing the issues first?

I worked in SE Asia for a few years working on food safety and food security projects. I started helping some of the students that I encountered during my work and it kind of kept up after retirement. Then picked up some students from other countries. I really work on soft skills, English communication, some critical thinking (which is not emphasized in Asia as a whole), helping through under graduate school with how to study, multi-task etc. Its been fun working with the young adults and keeps me sharp. Hope that gives you and idea.

Yes, and unfortunately the effort spent on it is not proportional to the earnings. I can't devote all my time to the game, because I have my main job.
About the choice. There are a few choice here and there, which affect the story, and yet there are choice that..... Let's just say they have almost no impact. Why almost? Because there are consequences to such actions. But later :D
So its about the earnings, not the art as usual. I'm not surprised.
Personally I think if money is what you want, dont be an artist. Dont even try. It rarely pays. Thats one of the first things I was taught when I studied literature.
But if its art you want, to uplift the human spirit. To make us more than beasts, accept that its not about the money and make the sacrifices your art requires.
My advice to you, not that I think you'll care or listen to me, is stick to your job.
Maybe you will have time for art when you have reached retirement age.
Back to the lack of choices again: I'm sorry I didn't see any meaningful choices when I played through it all.
I remember a choice to stop and help some girl in an alley, which I chose to ignore. No consequences to be seen. Therefore meaningless.
The same with some Elf girl getting stomped later, no consequences and never mentioned again.
I refused every single romantic or sexual advance any of the female characters made in the story.
None of them did anything about it. There may have been one brief comment about 'not looking at any of them' but then there was also a comment about the MC being a pervert when I had been anything but while controlling the MC.
Shouldn't the dialogue reflect my choices as MC? Shouldn't the girl that came with him from earth, I forget her name because I didn't care about her, shouldn't she loose her temper at being rejected?
Shouldn't the hacker chick have done or said something to get back at the MC when I refused to let her join him in the bath?
Perhaps she should have started screaming at him? Accused him of rape of something? Tried to ruin his reputation?
A lot of women really dont like being rejected afterall.
None of these things had any visible effect on the story, positive or negative.
No one left, no one grew angry or disappointed.
No one realized they were wrong and grew as a person.
No one of consequence died. In fact the only character I remember dying at all was literally called 'Soldier C' or something.
If I cant see the consequences of my actions, even if its because you just haven't gotten around to writing that part of the story yet, then there are no consequences.
For a minute, I've been working around the clock for a notional $30 a month for six months now. If I really planned to do it for the money, I would have given it up a long time ago. Yes and, the way I chose is not exactly easy, yes much easier to create a game with a conventional stepmother, and 3 sisters who live in the same house and crazy about the main character. But I wanted something more, something I wouldn't be ashamed of in the future.
And I'm honestly a little bit offended to see that elections don't affect anything, when in turn, they do. But on the other hand, I also understand you, because unfortunately I simply do not have not only time and energy, but also mind to combine all this. But thank you for your feedback, and I promise that in the future I will make much better choices than what I have now. Because if you look at it from your point of view, then yes, there are no elections, they are there, but at the same time they are not.... Sad but true.

Was definetly 0.1 and not 0.1.5. I finished 0.1 on 6 January, but 0.1.5 came out afterwards and was just a rewrite. So i didn't bother to replay it (just a few days later). And i store the played version as comment in my collection, so I know in the future where i need to continue. But good to know that 0.1 saves are not compatible. I suggest you write a big hint in your frontpage for other poor souls like me. ;-)
Yeah, I agree. I'll write this just in time for 0.2.5, it should be available by the end of next week. And in the future, if saves don't work, I'll add a skip function where you just have to select variables. Lovely :D
This means that you have not downloaded the file all the way to the end, or the file is corrupted. The only solution is to re-download. And unfortunately this is the only solution, because from my side all files uploaded to file exchangers work correctly

hey look at that I found gold! Not refined gold like a statue or something but like a gold nugget. Not perfect in shape or size but valuable nonetheless.

1. art? Damn near breathtaking from the models to the scenery everything is crafted beautifully.
2. story? So far it's really good and there are definitely Mysteries to still in comfort of course since it's considered in the early days of development still. I'm really enjoying the setting and had actually recently been wanting to read a story that is a blend of fantasy futuristic as well cyberpunk genre.
3. The sexy scenes certainly are sexy and well animated. Aside from another character that I won't spoil here would really like the next intimate encounter be with a character that we the players have felt like we have built up a bond with over time.
4. Is more of a bad one but being an alien world at such a distant place it really breaks the immersion every time I see English. As far as I could tell so far a lower reason hasn't been given I'm guessing it's more to do with the assets at hand to build the world. But seeing Coca-Cola cans or certain someone holding a High School of the Dead manga makes me go.... " is this really not earth?"
So in conclusion aside from my number four I definitely would give this one a look even if it's early days. I mean come on how many early visual novels do you find with this much stuff early on??? You don't normally it's simple you could get the grasp of it in a few minutes but there's plenty of stuff here even though this is only the second installment of the story. In other words definitely download this one.
On Linux in script.rpy line 3 the following code causes a crash. I extracted the rpa and commented this out and it works now. Maybe just leave this out in the next version.

You want an example of 'Illusion of Choice', thats Eternum. Add in Dev times of over 6 months and a Dev that doesn't like to respond to negative feedback and yeah, I will lose my temper.
Believe it or not I think NoGlory here is a better Dev than Caribdis, if only because he actually spoke to me about my concerns. Didn't just ignore and then block me.
Not to mention this story is fairly original, as in I have not read anything like it. Similar yes but not the same.

I was on itch for several days asking for information. I calculated how much time it was taking between each release and laid it all out for everyone to see. No response from Caribdis. Then I was blocked. It's obvious to me that Caribdis did not in fact want to discuss anything with me, he just wants to cover up his faults. Why else would he block me without discussing the issues first?

I worked in SE Asia for a few years working on food safety and food security projects. I started helping some of the students that I encountered during my work and it kind of kept up after retirement. Then picked up some students from other countries. I really work on soft skills, English communication, some critical thinking (which is not emphasized in Asia as a whole), helping through under graduate school with how to study, multi-task etc. Its been fun working with the young adults and keeps me sharp. Hope that gives you and idea.

I’d kill or die to see a story that actually includes choices that matter! Choices that change the story!
Hell even choices that are reflected in the story make a difference!
For example: If I refuse to spend any time with a girl as the MC she should get angry, leave forever, that sort of stuff.
But that would take more effort than these so called writers can be bothered with…

About the choice. There are a few choice here and there, which affect the story, and yet there are choice that..... Let's just say they have almost no impact. Why almost? Because there are consequences to such actions. But later :D
So its about the earnings, not the art as usual. I'm not surprised.
Personally I think if money is what you want, dont be an artist. Dont even try. It rarely pays. Thats one of the first things I was taught when I studied literature.
But if its art you want, to uplift the human spirit. To make us more than beasts, accept that its not about the money and make the sacrifices your art requires.
My advice to you, not that I think you'll care or listen to me, is stick to your job.
Maybe you will have time for art when you have reached retirement age.
Back to the lack of choices again: I'm sorry I didn't see any meaningful choices when I played through it all.
I remember a choice to stop and help some girl in an alley, which I chose to ignore. No consequences to be seen. Therefore meaningless.
The same with some Elf girl getting stomped later, no consequences and never mentioned again.
I refused every single romantic or sexual advance any of the female characters made in the story.
None of them did anything about it. There may have been one brief comment about 'not looking at any of them' but then there was also a comment about the MC being a pervert when I had been anything but while controlling the MC.
Shouldn't the dialogue reflect my choices as MC? Shouldn't the girl that came with him from earth, I forget her name because I didn't care about her, shouldn't she loose her temper at being rejected?
Shouldn't the hacker chick have done or said something to get back at the MC when I refused to let her join him in the bath?
Perhaps she should have started screaming at him? Accused him of rape of something? Tried to ruin his reputation?
A lot of women really dont like being rejected afterall.
None of these things had any visible effect on the story, positive or negative.
No one left, no one grew angry or disappointed.
No one realized they were wrong and grew as a person.
No one of consequence died. In fact the only character I remember dying at all was literally called 'Soldier C' or something.
If I cant see the consequences of my actions, even if its because you just haven't gotten around to writing that part of the story yet, then there are no consequences.
Therefore none of it has any meaning for me.

For a minute, I've been working around the clock for a notional $30 a month for six months now. If I really planned to do it for the money, I would have given it up a long time ago. Yes and, the way I chose is not exactly easy, yes much easier to create a game with a conventional stepmother, and 3 sisters who live in the same house and crazy about the main character. But I wanted something more, something I wouldn't be ashamed of in the future.
And I'm honestly a little bit offended to see that elections don't affect anything, when in turn, they do. But on the other hand, I also understand you, because unfortunately I simply do not have not only time and energy, but also mind to combine all this. But thank you for your feedback, and I promise that in the future I will make much better choices than what I have now. Because if you look at it from your point of view, then yes, there are no elections, they are there, but at the same time they are not.... Sad but true.
Hi, I've a few problems with the new 0.2 PC release. Am I the only one?
First, when loading any save from 0.1 (tried with "save now" end, and other saves), I get a missing PNG-Error (Full Traceback omitted):

Was definetly 0.1 and not 0.1.5. I finished 0.1 on 6 January, but 0.1.5 came out afterwards and was just a rewrite. So i didn't bother to replay it (just a few days later). And i store the played version as comment in my collection, so I know in the future where i need to continue. But good to know that 0.1 saves are not compatible. I suggest you write a big hint in your frontpage for other poor souls like me. ;-)
Yeah, I agree. I'll write this just in time for 0.2.5, it should be available by the end of next week. And in the future, if saves don't work, I'll add a skip function where you just have to select variables. Lovely :D

This means that you have not downloaded the file all the way to the end, or the file is corrupted. The only solution is to re-download. And unfortunately this is the only solution, because from my side all files uploaded to file exchangers work correctly
hey look at that I found gold! Not refined gold like a statue or something but like a gold nugget. Not perfect in shape or size but valuable nonetheless.

1. art? Damn near breathtaking from the models to the scenery everything is crafted beautifully.
2. story? So far it's really good and there are definitely Mysteries to still in comfort of course since it's considered in the early days of development still. I'm really enjoying the setting and had actually recently been wanting to read a story that is a blend of fantasy futuristic as well cyberpunk genre.
3. The sexy scenes certainly are sexy and well animated. Aside from another character that I won't spoil here would really like the next intimate encounter be with a character that we the players have felt like we have built up a bond with over time.
4. Is more of a bad one but being an alien world at such a distant place it really breaks the immersion every time I see English. As far as I could tell so far a lower reason hasn't been given I'm guessing it's more to do with the assets at hand to build the world. But seeing Coca-Cola cans or certain someone holding a High School of the Dead manga makes me go.... " is this really not earth?"
So in conclusion aside from my number four I definitely would give this one a look even if it's early days. I mean come on how many early visual novels do you find with this much stuff early on??? You don't normally it's simple you could get the grasp of it in a few minutes but there's plenty of stuff here even though this is only the second installment of the story. In other words definitely download this one.
